This home’s kitchen was original to the home from the time it was built over 40 years ago sporting very dark cabinets and “bittersweet“ formica countertops. Brightening the space, improving functionality, creating a work environment conducive to her cooking and baking projects were high priorities. In addition to upgraded surface materials, the owner also had a concept for a sitting / workspace on the end of the peninsula that required an imaginative solution.
New pendant and under counter lighting, cabinetry, quartz countertops, tile floor and back splash, updated electrical, and range hood, as well as an attractive stainless steel farmhouse style sink and faucet completely transformed the space. Working closely with the customer enabled Renovators to deliver a completely different look without extending the space, and styled in keeping with the style of the home.
We are done! After several years of procrastination, we contracted with Renovators to replace the kitchen that we built 35 years ago. When you are “older” the thoughts of disruption ( temporarily losing living space) and bringing in cabinets, counter tops, plumbers, electricians, and others at the right time was disconcerting. However, John and his crew did the renovation in less than six weeks. The whole project went smoothly as his crew worked very well together. Communication was outstanding, John kept us informed every step of the way. We are very pleased with the beautiful result and would recommend Renovators to anyone.
